We have launched a new list of Specialist Certificate Tracks- areas of specialty or concentration! Why?
Because people have asked us for our core training tailored to a specific audience, so we took the most requested topics and a few of our personal favorites and created new offerings!
Each Track consists of 30 hours of course work. The pre-requisite for these varying Tracks is a
30 hour Foundational Cyberculture Series.
View the list here and let us know what is most interesting to you!

Coaches and other helping professionals who want to connect with clients using the internet now have resources at the ready. Online Therapy Institute and the Institute for Life Coach Training are partnering to advance online coaching and counseling standards worldwide.
…………………….
Highlands, NJ, January 10, 2011 –(PR.com)– Coaches and other helping professionals who want to connect with clients using the internet now have resources at the ready. The internationally established, Online Therapy Institute (OTI) and the Institute for Life Coach Training (ILCT) are partnering to advance online coaching and counseling standards worldwide. DeeAnna Merz Nagel and Kate Anthony, co-founders of Online Therapy Institute and Managing Editors of TILT Magazine (Therapeutic Innovations in Light of Technology), working in collaboration with LifeOptions Group and its Institute for Life Coach Training are pleased to announce:
· The recent release of OTI’s Ethical Framework for the Use of Technology in Online Coaching, a global reference point for the ethical use of technology in coaching.
· The upcoming publication of the new Ethical Framework for online coaching in TILT Magazine and a regular column on coaching and technology by the Framework’s principal author, Lyle Labardee, CEO of the ILCT.
· The availability of training in the use of the online coaching “Framework” standards by DeeAnna Merz Nagel who now serves as faculty with the ILCT, and who will assist in providing ILCT’s Board Certified Coach Training for therapists and coaches pursuing the new NBCC/CCE Board Certified Coach credential.
· The expanded, international role of Dr. Kate Anthony who has recently been appointed Executive Specialist in Online Coaching by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). The Board of BACP established its Coaching Division in recognition of the growing importance of coaching to personal and organisational well being.
The OTI and ILCT partnership is exciting news for counselors and coaches worldwide as the longstanding leadership and experience that each of these organisations bring in training and equipping practitioners will be combined. DeeAnna Nagel, CEO of OTI reports, “We’re looking forward to bringing all of our global experience and resources in the use of technology in the helping professions to the field of coaching. ILCT’s longstanding history as the leading, international provider of coach training and online coaching resources for counselors, psychologists, therapists and other helping professionals make it an ideal partner for OTI.”
Lyle Labardee, CEO of ILCT added, “We are thrilled with the abundance of synergies that exist in the OTI-ILCT partnership and it’s exciting to see how our collaboration is already producing added value for OTI members and ILCT students alike.”
Future projects for the OTI-ILCT team include building on OTI’s seminal text, Therapy Online: A Practical Guide, and publishing the first book on the practice and ethics of online coaching from leading experts in the field.
